For purposes of fraudulent representation statutes, consists of forming plan or devising some trick to perpetrate fraud upon another. State v. Smith, 121 Ariz. 106, 588 P.2d 848.
Such connotes a plan or pattern of conduct which is intended to or is reasonably calculated to deceive persons of ordinary prudence and comprehension. U.S. v. Washita Const. Co., C.A.Okl., 789 F.2d 809, 817.
"Scheme to defraud" within meaning of mail fraud statute (18 U.S. C.A. No. 1341) is the intentional use of false or fraudulent representations for the purpose of gaining a valuable undue advantage or working some injury to something of value held by another. U.S. v. Mandel, D.C.Md., 415 F.Supp. 997, 1005.
